Breakout is a gorgeous pink-yellow blend with large 8"+ blooms. One of the very first varieties we’ve ever grown, it will always have a place on the farm. Similar to Cafe au Lait but with more yellow tones. Plants are shorter but support their large blooms well. Make sure to harvest flowers before they've fully opened for the best vase life.
Fun Fact: Some refer to these larger blooming varieties as a "dinnerplate" dahlia due to their size and their resemblance to, you guessed it, a dinner plate!

Growing Guide
Dahlias are cold sensitive and should not be planted out until all danger of frost has passed in your area. Dahlias grow best in full sun (6+ hours of sunlight) and well-draining soil. Dahlias produce tubers which must be lifted in the fall in zones 7 and lower.
