Chrichton Honey was one of the first varieties we’ve ever grown. Every year she steals the show with her apricot blooms that fade to honey. Plants are on the shorter side and would benefit from support to hold up the large blooms if you don't plan on harvesting them regularly.

Tip: Be sure to cut the first bloom deep for nice long stems!

Growing Guide

Dahlias are cold sensitive and should not be planted out until all danger of frost has passed in your area. Dahlias grow best in full sun (6+ hours of sunlight) and well-draining soil. Dahlias produce tubers which must be lifted in the fall in zones 7 and lower.

  • We sell and ship to customers in the continental United States. Local Pick Up is also available at our farm in South Dartmouth, MA.
  • All orders with standard shipping will ship when safe to do so, typically beginning in mid-April.
