Bracken Sarah is a thick petaled bloom with loads of peachy petals that boast a golden glow. We swear this beauty glows once the sun goes down! Plants are on the shorter side but due to the size and weight of the blooms we still recommend support. Although Bracken Sarah is a late-bloomer, we refuse to love her any less- she's just that good!
Tip: This is a late bloomer (meaning it blooms later in the season than other varieties) If you live in a zone with an early frost you may benefit from waking this one up early or just keep in mind her blooms will require some patience.

Growing Guide
Dahlias are cold sensitive and should not be planted out until all danger of frost has passed in your area. Dahlias grow best in full sun (6+ hours of sunlight) and well-draining soil. Dahlias produce tubers which must be lifted in the fall in zones 7 and lower.

I was super excited about this tuber in particular but it didn't end up sprouting eyes. Bummer! Most of my other tubers from this company are doing great so I will try again for this beauty next season. Is it normal for tubers to come with a portion of the end cut off? This was the only time I've received one like that.
Frictionless transaction and great product!
I'm so excited for mine to bloom and all the other dahlias I purchased from Russell Mills.
I'm going to this dahlia vendor for next year's flowers!
Just received our order. All tubers look to be viable with good eyes.
Will plant them today and keep you posted.
I received carefully packaged, firm, healthy tubers with at least one eye sprout. Thank tou!
